Book Review : One Green Frog

Mike found this great, old (1978), counting book at the thrift store:

It's by Yvonne Hooker and illustrated by Carlo A. Michelini. It is quite charming. The illustrations are really sweet and the words are great too. The number 8 text says:

Eight quick, brown mice look for things to eat, scuttling through the house on soft and dainty feet.

I also like number 2:

Two brightly colored toucans. What very peculiar birds! They can see as well as you can but their beaks are quite absurd.
