So I mixed a baked sweet potato with some vintage white
into a runny/smooth consistency and we fed it to the Bear. He wasn't so
sure at first and then he started grabbing my finger and shoving it
into his mouth. We need to set up the high chair as reclining and eating
is probably not good for him. Anyways, have a look:
And, no, he did not sleep through the night after his first solid food meal like people said he would. Of course. What are some of the first foods you all fed your babies?
Avocados, bananas, applesauce, squash, and sweet potatoes were all big hits with my kids. They still love them to this day. Ethan hated broccili but we never gave up and kept giving it to him and even would put 1 "tree" on his plate as a toddler. Eventually he started to eat it and now loves it!
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing! i think the sweet potato is holding up his poop factory. on to apples tomorrow!
Deleteavocado for all four!
ReplyDeletethanks mama. i bought a hard avocado in hopes of it softening by the weekend for a little stanley green grub. i hope he likes it as much as i do.
Deletedid you get some sweet potato poop? i started with rice cereal and then probably some kind of veggie, i don't remember which, but i remember it being recommended to try veggies before fruit because fruit is sweeter. Can't wait to see what Cameron thinks of his first foods when the time comes :)
ReplyDeleteHe finally pooped but it wasn't an extraordinary poop. It looked like the same as before but more runny (diarrhea??) I don't think he had enough solids to make a full on stinker.
