Breast Pump Perks

 

In one of our birthing classes way back when one of the ladies asked what the difference is between a hand pump breast pump and an electric one. The instructor first said, "Price." and then she said, "The electric one is more expensive but it's much quicker. And you want something quick because you want to be able to maximize your time." One of the pregnant ladies in class mentioned an Ameda breast pump program; if you are affiliated with UNC in any way you can get a 40% off an electric pump. (Who says Mike's job doesn't have perks?!) So, we jumped on it and used some of the gift money that we received to get a double, electric breast pump. This is going to be great because it will give Mike a chance to participate in feeding the little bear and having some boy time together. In the meantime I am going to start practicing my cow sounds.
